Firstly the number of beneficial insects, secondly the amount of people visiting and using the space and thirdly, the fact that the accommodation and office spaces are fully subscribed. Thriving outdoor spaces have added to a thriving and profitable community.

Heidi’s ethos

“I love that I’m always learning on the job, and I’ve gathered a lot of information over the last 20 years about how plants fare in different environments. This information comes in handy whether I’m working on commercial greenspace maintenance or residential gardens.

“I’m good at what I do because I never leave a stone unturned. I’m a bit of a terrier, where I will not stop until I’ve resolved a problem or got something to a point that I feel really, truly happy with it, and I’ve built my gardening career around that.

“The future’s exciting. Having worked with commercial property managers and developers for a number of years, I know how to manage these projects effectively and am keen to take on more of these large developments, to create wider impact through improving greenspace areas across Sussex.”
